The Magna Carta was signed in 1215 by King John forcedly . The Magna Carta was created for the rights of all the peasants so they could be treated equal also the Magna Carta takes a huge part in present Laws and right to everyone . If the Magna Carta wasn't created everyone would be treated the same as the Medieval times where you would have to pay exactly the same amount of tax whether rich or poor, Also king John taxed heavily towards people so linking back if the Magna Carta wasn't created you would have been taxed heavily. The Magna Carta was drafted by Archbishop Stephen Langton also the most powerful Barons of England. The Barons and Stephen Langton decided to control the King and order him by the old laws of England before the Normans came.The Magna Carta is one of the most celebrated document in all of the English History. Now only 3 of the clauses in the Magna Carta are used today.The Most famous clause is the 3rd :"No free man shall be seized or imprisoned, or stripped of his rights or possessions, or outlawed or exiled . nor will we proceed with force against him . except by the lawful judgement of his equals or by the law of the land. To no one will we sell, to no one deny or delay right or justice.
